About Nasdev   

This project is a home server that was originally set up sometime in 2000 in order to have a centralized storage repository at home.
It was originally used as a shared storage for the home PC's and to back-up files from those PC's.
Later it expanded to store family photos and ran a web server to access those photos.
The domain name nasdev.com was created and registered on Jun 2, 2003 along with it's sister domains nasprd.com 111gz.com. nasprd.com has since expired and is no longer use.

Nasdev stands for Network Attached Storage Device as that describes the function of the server.

Yes you are talking to my storage... 
It just happens to be running Solaris, 
apache, MySQL, php, glassfish, sendmail, 
Solaris Zones, VirtualBox 
and a few other things.

As well as serving up 12 TB 
of storage around the house.
